The Lord of Tides, Fengamhor rules the oceans and rivers of the world. He commands the storms and waves, leading them at his whim. It is said that sailors encountering a storm are either being tested or punished, as He Who Fools is temperamental by nature and enjoys the chaos of mortal actions. Usually depicted as a muscular, young man wearing an ornate, half-breasted toga and leaning on a rough-hewn crook, The Great Nomad is known to wander among mortals often, in defiance of the First Accord. Whether a mysterious, wise musician on the road or a little child playing on the beach, many may have met the Life-bringer without knowing it. He cares little for tradition or law, always challenging the way that things are.
Across the Ringward Sea, it is traditional for the mainmast of a ship to be hooked at the top, in his honour. As a patron of musicians, it is said that the first sea shanties were hymns and prayers wishing for calm seas. They were rowdy and upbeat, for to bore the Wave King is to invite excitement from elsewhere.
