Deep in the heart of the Castle Quarter, The Shade is the first barrier to those seeking to explore the Castle. At times, the trees and bushes will be full of fruits and game, providing food and shelter, but at other times, it is a hostile thicket of thorns and predators.
It is said to be fey-touched.
The Shade has, for the moment, seen fit to give the expeditionary team a safe place to set up camp, and the fringes seem safe. But the deeper a traveler goes, the more likely they are to find something that doesn't care for visitors...
