Dances is a former traveling merchant and folk lore collector. He has heard so many weird, quirky, contradicting, interesting, spooky, scary stories about The Castle, that when he learned its gates opened and the Expeditionary Company set up shop on the threshold, he didn't think for long before selling most of the ordinary stuff, buying serious gear for a fledgling navigator and knocking on the door in nearest recruitment office.
