Lethia Rosenheim comes from a small family consisting of just her brother and father after her mother died in childbirth. The Rosenheims live a somewhat secluded life with their home a day's journey from the closest village. That distance never stopped Lethia or her brother from traveling to help the village guard.
Lethia was happy enough to spend her days helping the village and learning how to survive and defend herself from her father. Yet she found herself wanting to match her hero father's legacy and wanting to be as loved as her brother in the village. So she set out on a journey to make her family proud by making her own name to join theirs.
