I'm writing you regarding the results of our reconnaissance. The charlatan showed us the way into the first floor of this castle, which contained many rooms. Some lead to empty rooms set ablaze, while some sunk slowly into shadow with no stopping point in sight. We met some skeletons inside that had no clue about Archaea or the goings-on outside of the castle, much like the shopkeeper. Other skeletons we met, however, decided to raise a hand against me and the others; it was the last decision they made. Empty eggs of rotten rancor were our only other source of company on the first floor.
The second floor brought a large gargoyle that knocked some of us unconscious, me included, but we ultimately managed to unite and fight the underling off. Our search stopped when, behind the gargoyle, two sealed doors barred a way that we could not breach. Further, future findings seem favored.
