The tent flap transported us to a pathway, the land was an open steppe with a thick forest in one direction and massive mountains in the north, attached are the maps we gathered from locals. We came across the city of Emptium which had been burnt and raided, this was where we met Luceus of the Emperors army. He led us to their camp where we spoke with Captain Gallus and learned of the Kahn raiders and the civil war going on across Delkhii. We also learned that the Empire has tried killing all the goats to starve the Kahns, as well as outlawed the use and study of their magic.
We decided to try and speak with the Kahns. Temujin is their leader and spoke of how the Empire has met any attempts to broker peace with violence. The Kahns have a deep connection with primal magic and raid the cities under the belief that nature itself wishes them to, and I am inclined to believe them. We were shown hospitality but, without swearing loyalty to the Kahns, had to hand over our weapons while at their camp. They showed us where to speak with the surviving druids of the land and how to get to a gateway back home. The gateway is a pit and you must offer the guardian something to be allowed passage, we offered plants from our plane.
