The mantis god of assassination and the Blooming Blade's patron deity, Kisurrum is a divine manifestation of the living, teeming Underdark. For the insectoid drow who comprise the majority of her followers, murder is both a political tool and a ritualistic practice. It is this aspect of their home which Kisurrum embodies: its claws. Though violence for is own sake is certainly pervasive in the Underdark, the Deathdealer's followers are taught to use stealth and trickery rather than brute force, and that killing without purpose is shameful. Every murder should affect change; each drop of blood spilled should nourish the soil beneath one's feet.
The faith's largest sect is located in the drow capital of Yaldana. As her cult values secrecy and anonymity, Kisurrum does not have temples or other conventional places of worship in her name; rather, her followers conduct their personal rituals away from prying eyes, secure in the knowledge that they continue to enact her will by virtue of being assassins. The rituals themselves vary between sects, but there is one common thread among them: the greatest prayer of all is to spill blood in her name.
When Kisurrum bothers to grace mortals with her presence, she appears as a humanoid with the features of an orchid mantis. Insectoid traits, such as compound eyes and wings of chitin, are seen as a blessing among the drow population— a sign that one has earned the goddess' favor. Her ire is far more common.
