Humanity (also called Homo sapiens, meaning "thinking man") or modern humans are the most common and widespread species of primate on Terra and Asteria . They are the last surviving species of the genus Homo and are characterized by their hairlessness, bipedalism, and high intelligence. After the Malmstrom Incident Humans became divided between two sub classifications: Terrans that originate from humanity’s cradle world of Earth , referred to as Terra by the following splinter faction and the wider galaxy, and Asterians who are those humans that originate from the world of Asteria.
