Ochemata are entire beings created through the process of Cloning from an original biological Mortal. Though physically identical to the original, the Ochema and the original individual are distinct entities, each with their own memories, Morality, and intelligence. While they can be useful for roles such as slave labor or military service, Ochemata typically suffer from a short lifespan and severe health complications toward the end of their life cycle. Thus they are not widely used, as they neither extend the original individual’s lifespan nor outperform machines, which are cheaper and easier to produce.
