The Wayside Inn is a hostel on The Sword Coast North situated at the western end of The Triboar Trail where it meets The High Road. Frequent travelers of The High Road have noted that the current Wayside Inn is the fifth to have been in operation in the last 150 years. The exact number of "Wayside Inns" has been lost to history, but foundations and ruins lining the High Road suggest there has been at least a dozen. The Wayside is currently owned and operated by Martisha Vinetalker, who reestablished it in 1455 DR, Year of the King's Repentance. It sleeps approximately 12 - 16 travelers and houses a small smithy and stables.
