Castle Never, also known as the Keep of Lord Never, was the central stronghold and the home of the rulers of the city of Neverwinter.It was by far the most prominent feature of the city, placed on a large rock outcropping on the north bank of The Neverwinter River where it opened into Neverwinter Harbor. Castle Never was heavily damaged during Ruining when much of the cast collapsed due to structural instability from earthquakes and fires triggered by volcanic debris strikes. Not a single survivor from within the castle was found after the disaster, and it remains abandoned.
