The Party begins to calm after the battle with the blights ends. Suddenly a faint screeching sound of glass being cut and cracked begins to come from Erynn's sword. The sound becomes louder and more intense. The Party's befuddled attention turns toward Erynn Haldwynn. Erynn hears the voice of Unknown, The Princess of the Shadow Glass say "We have much to discuss, my Pact-Bound. I demand audience IMMEDIATELY" but the rest of The Party only hears intense screeching of glass. Suddenly a black crystal erupts from Erynn's sword, growing around her hand. Sounds of crunching, cracking glass become deafening from the crystal. The crystal begins growing exponentially faster, climbing up Erynn's arm. Erynn looks down and mutters "Oh no, not again..." as the glass crystals rapidly travel up her arm and spread across her entire body. She becomes enveloped in black glass. The glass permeates Erynn's body and shatters both itself and her crystalline form. As the glass shards hit the ground, they blink from existence on the Prime Material Plane.
Erynn experiences excruciating, but thankfully brief, pain as she is crystalized, shattered, and then reformed. When her consciousness returns, she finds herself whole again, but in an new location. She stands in a dark throne room entirely composed of black crystalline glass. Fifteen feet in front of her, Nintra Siotta sits on a large throne of smokey black glass, staring at Erynn with an amused but slightly annoyed look on her face. "Erynn, my Dear, welcome back to my Court. I'm pleased to see that you quickly and obediently heeded by call for an audience."
Erynn Haldwynn: I stand there, quietly.Nintra Siotta: "Your silence suggests to me that you may know why I've called you here. I understand you've been rather... loquacious concerning our arrangement recently. I feel I must remind you that our pact is ours for good reason. I have bequeathed you considerable power through our agreement and with that comes a great responsibility to abide by the requirements set within. My agents and machinations must remain unknown to my rivals until necessary preparations have been made."
Each time Ninta emphasizes a word, a chilling, razor sharp pain shoots through Erynn's sword arm.
Erynn Haldwynn: I remain silent, listening closely — clearly shaken.
Nintra Siotta: Nintra smiles at Erynn's resilience but is also very pleased at her obedience.
"Oh, my Dear, how you do delight me. Even in your moments of struggle, you perform in such pleasant ways. While I was... disappointed by your rather free reference to our arrangement, the way you made that retched little goat animal squirm with the mere mention of my Grace truly did delight!"
Nintra smiles maniacally .
Erynn Haldwynn: "I hope my words did not bring you any trouble. I knew the creature had ill intentions and was not to be trusted."Nintra Siotta: "Oh, the creature could never trouble ME. However, the nature of the little retches is to speak everything they know far and wide. I worry not of its intentions but the unforeseen consequences of its blabbering mouth. Remember that my enemies are inherently yours. They are powerful and not to be trifled with. Wide knowledge of our arrangement would put you in danger, and I would not want my lose one of my most precious subjects so early into our fruitful relationship."
"Now, with that... unpleasant business behind us. You are released to return to your merry little band at your pleasure. Go forth into your Realm. Bring yourself glory and power. For BOTH of us."
Erynn Haldwynn: Yes, my lady. I bow
Nintra Siotta: Nintra dismisses Erynn with a wave of her hand.
