Fire Root is harvested from the Fire Cactus, or narlaima, found in the arid deserts of the Blazing Expanse. The above ground stalks, that can grow to heights of 2 meters, are too dry and prickly to be consumed. The Fire Elves discovered the root ran nearly as deep as it grows tall and use it in their cooking.
