Limpie found that Kaeleth's group was going to the Temple of the White Tiger. Kaeleth's group went to The Temple of the Red Crane and spoke with Chi-Ji (August Celestial), they were tasked to complete a trial at the temple which we presumed they passed. They also found a similar key slot which they were able to figure out what to put inside. They then tried to go to the Temple of Jade Serpent to speak with Yulon, but Yulon turned them away and asked them to go complete the other temples before they came back and complete hers.
One the rest of the ship journey Cloud had his date with spineod, but she felt overwhelmed by everyone watching and they ultimately decided to go for a walk around the ship alone.
Zouchin village is filled with fish people and its where Loch is from. While we were there we were given a story from a story teller about the temples. There are said that there are trials at all 4 temples and if someone were to complete all 4 they would gain a boon, but in their village there isn't anyone that they know that has succeeded the trials. The story teller then went on to tell us about the story about the people on an island we saw saying:
"As I gazed out at the churning seas from the deck of our ship, the looming silhouette of the Isle of Reckoning came into view. The sky above was a roiling mass of dark clouds, and the air was thick with an ominous sense of foreboding. My heart pounded with a mix of fear and excitement as I prepared to set foot on this treacherous island—a place whispered about in taverns and feared by even the bravest of adventurers.
We anchored the ship in a sheltered cove, the rocky cliffs of the island rising like jagged teeth around us. I took a deep breath and stepped onto the sandy shore, my boots sinking into the damp, gritty earth. The air was heavy with the scent of salt and decay, and the cries of seagulls echoed eerily above.
The Isle of Reckoning was a land of ancient ruins and dark magic, a place where the veil between the living and the dead was said to be thin. As I made my way inland, the dense foliage closed in around me, the twisted trees and tangled vines forming a labyrinthine maze. My senses were on high alert, every rustle of leaves and snap of twigs sending shivers down my spine.
It wasn't long before I encountered the first of the island's guardians—skeletal warriors, their eyes burning with an unholy fire. I drew my sword, its blade gleaming in the dim light, and prepared for battle. The clash of steel against bone reverberated through the forest, and I fought with all my might, determination fueling every swing and parry. When the last of the skeletal foes lay shattered at my feet, I allowed myself a moment to catch my breath.
Pressing on, I soon came across the ruins of an ancient temple, its once-grand pillars now crumbling and covered in moss. This was the heart of the island, the source of its dark power. As I entered the temple, I felt a chill wash over me, as if the very air was infused with malevolent energy. The walls were adorned with cryptic runes and faded murals depicting long-forgotten battles.
In the center of the temple lay a stone altar, upon which rested an ancient artifact—the Heart of the Reckoning. It pulsed with a faint, eerie glow, and I could feel its dark power calling to me. I knew that to claim the artifact, I would have to face the island's ultimate guardian.
As if in response to my thoughts, a figure emerged from the shadows—a towering wraith, its form shifting and ethereal. The guardian's eyes glowed with a malevolent light, and it wielded a spectral blade that seemed to hum with dark energy. I steeled myself for the fight of my life.
The battle was fierce and relentless. The wraith's attacks were swift and deadly, and I struggled to keep up, my body and mind pushed to their limits. But with every strike, I felt a growing determination—a resolve to overcome the darkness and claim the Heart of the Reckoning.
In a final, desperate move, I unleashed all my strength, driving my sword through the wraith's ghostly form. The guardian let out a haunting wail before dissipating into the shadows, and the temple fell silent once more.
I approached the altar and carefully lifted the Heart of the Reckoning, feeling its power course through me. As I made my way back to the ship, I couldn't help but marvel at the island's dark beauty and the trials I had faced. The Isle of Reckoning had tested my courage, my strength, and my resolve, and I had emerged victorious.
With the artifact safely in my possession, I knew that my journey was far from over. But as the ship sailed away from the island, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. The Isle of Reckoning had left its mark on me, and I was forever changed by the experience."
At the end of our 1-month trials, we were assigned to go to Westwind Rest and meet a person named Gregales, and we are to help him with whatever he need help with. Once we complete it, we need to write an essay about what Gregales asked us to do and turn it back in.
