People say that he's blackmailed others, but no one has found any evidence to the truth of the matter. Many people don't believe those rumors due to how much THE Greytooth values honesty. But it isn't honesty exactly, it's more that his word is iron. What he says IS. The entire Greytooth family lives by the same ethos, but THE Greytooth is the real master. He has the uncanny ability to make any statement into a question or a threat. One such story goes that THE Greytooth was being held up by an angry adventurer, and all he said was "The ponies will miss me", which caused the angry adventurer to retreat and leave Base Camp.
