In the town of Treyrem, five people have vanished in the last fortnight. No one knows where they have gone, but unusual lights and the smell of sulfur from the vacant Balcard Manor have the town on edge and a group of adventurers have been hired by the mayor to investigate. Time is short as local legend speaks of the new moon curse that befell the Balcard family, and tonight is a new moon.
