Intercalary Days

The Valarian Calendar's five intercalary days are used to mark key transitional periods of the year, named after the significance of each day. The people of Asobria often use a set of 'nicknames' for these days.

The Day of Rebirth "The Renewal" - The first day of the year, marking the start of spring and the new year.

The Day of Growth "The Verdance" - Falls between Blossian and Solvial, marking the transition from spring to summer.

The Day of Flame "The Highfire" - Falls between Lume and Harvestal, marking the transition from summer to autumn.

The Day of Thanks 'The Amber' - Falls between Fadewind and Frostveil, marking the transition from autumn to winter.

The Day of Reflection "The Last Breath" - The final day of the year, marking the end of winter and the transition to the next year.
