The Spine of the North is a large mountain range that spans the length of eastern Impatria. Starting by the Azure Channel in the south, it runs along the entire length of the continent before ending at Mount Fjallzen, which is the northernmost point in the known world. Its highest peak is Heaven's Fingertip, which is found east of the Hjertlande in Kalvete.
While the Spine holds abundant mineral resources, its jagged peaks are notoriously difficult to traverse. This has shaped the isolation of some regions, such as the Outlands from the rest of Kalvete or Estlan from the Empire.
