The Sword Regiment is a Regiment of the Imperial Legions, which is the standing military for the Holy Empire of Acolytius. It is led by the Commander of the Sword, who is currently Orson Arval.
The Sword Regiment is the offense of the Legions, and any soldiers who belong to this Regiment are those who most often see the lines of battle. If needed, however, soldiers of this Regiment may be used in the defense of the Empire alongside the Shield Regiment. While all of the Sword Regiment's soldiers see combat on dry land, their Departments are divided by their specific type of weaponry or fighting style. These are the Infantry, Archery, Mage, and Cavalry Departments.
