The Master prided himself on secrecy, in service to Vecna. He has been responsible for the destabilization of the entire region, with plots in the Human, Elven, and Dwarven lands of the surviving kingdoms.
His true name was kept as a closely guarded secret, and in return it granted him almost complete immunity to damage. It was only through the fractured mind of an orcish shaman that Codex was able to find The Master's Name, transferred to the shaman when he was subjected to the Mind Flayer Chair.
He was defeated on Heartful 30, 220 by the Wardens of the North.
