KINGSTON
Bale awakens to find that Kraken has doubled. There is now Kraken with a collar and then a second black dog without a collar. Kraken can divide by cellular mitosis! The new dog seems more like a dog, without the tingling drool. It also cannot walk on walls. It also doesn’t seem to recognize us.
Bale calls the new dog Argos. We leave Argos and Kraken at Kingston and then head to the Summit via the extradimensional plane.
We meet with Yadira and a male dwarf. His name is Destin Acquisitioner, he is interested in buying what we are selling. He has a mechanical eye.
We then proceed to offer him the Morning Star known as the Undoing, the six figurines that are used to Venerate “That which lurks”, and the Tome of the Stilled Tongue.
Finally we present the Eye of Vecna. There is some discussion on what we might want in exchange, initially we ask for an audience with Tiamat and safe passage to and from Avernus, but we have a secondary alternate request for a Spelljammer and 5 rings of wishes. The Spelljammer needs to be pilotable by us. It is unlikely we will get all 5 rings of wishes, but this is possible.
We will give him in exchange for handing over the Eye of Vecna a danger pay of first choice from the rings of wishes that he can acquire for the Eye, or 50% the price of the Spelljammer. This is probably about 250,000 GP, but could be much more.
We agree to the arrangement, and hand over the Eye of Vecna. We return to Kingston without a horrifying artifact tied to us.
We get briefed on meeting the Thane tomorrow. We are to meet him in an official capacity in Southspire, and this will be a diplomatic affair. Pyyrhos and Collette will be coming along with us to make sure that things are on the up and up.
Codex collects the Shield Guardian and shrinks it back down. We then prepare for the official royal delegation. Tomorrow will come soon.
