Lasthaven
Speak to Obryn about her magic wagon. We ask her about the cost of getting the dwarves to create an earthwork wall around Lasthaven to protect it from undead attacks. We pay the 200gp cost and the dwarves get to work.
The Druid Kilver Packfinder has offered to raise walls of Stone from the ground, but the magics are expensive. 10,000 gp are far above what we can afford. However, Kilver wants the White Dragon Frostfang slain. It lairs above ground near the entrance of SouthSpire, about four days away. If we vow to slay the dragon, he will start raising the stone walls.
Obryn shows us her magic wagon. The interior is an extradimensional space, hostile to life (will suffocate whoever is put in there). It can contain up to 10,000 lbs worth of gear. We are permitted to use it to get the supplies from Everlife that were supposed to come to LastHaven.
The Gnomes of SouthSpire are the ones that create the wagon, but the costs are significant – 25,000 gp for materials. Something to aim towards.
Kilver introduces us to the Polar bear mounts, which are tame-ish, but still dangerous.
We spend the rest of the day preparing for the journey back to Everlife. Codex learns and plays some 3 Dragon Ante.
