Everlife Noble District
After time spent in meditation, Ioun confirms that Able Elynbrigge – Alegan, 8th in line to the throne of Neperkah, missing 27 years after an orc attack on the Prince’s caravan to Everlife… is Bale Caldwind.
Codex tells the group, who all think Codex is insane. But Codex is convinced, after all, his god told him so. Right? Right?
Everlife Escape Tunnels
We get the people through the tunnels to the outside Guard Tower. While we are taking people through, we hear footsteps.
As we are getting people out to the Guard tower, 3 wights attack the group. Bale and Simon defend the rear as Codex, Maud and Berdyn pull up people. We destroy two of the wights, and one retreats. After a few moments, we are set upon by a horde of ghouls and ghasts, led by the wight that retreated. Maud sets them all on fire.
Then 2 wraiths come, and they are not coming for us – they are coming for the refugees! We fight them to a standstill. One wraith gets past us and kills one of Michael’s men, but Codex brings him back to life. We see Simon call out to the wraith to single combat, and he keeps it busy as we get people out. The wraith almost kills Simon, but his orcish resilience keeps him alive. We defeat the Wraith.
The last thing that attacks us before we leave are two Allips. Incorporeal creatures that whisper and it causes psychic damage and madness. They are once mortals that learned forbidden secrets.
Everlife Southern Watch Tower
The people are safe in the Guard Tower. We return to the Spire.
Everlife Noble District
At the Spire, we say goodbye to Albrect. Codex tells him that Bale is actually Able, and Albrect believes Codex. He warns us that if we rescue Jacquette from Southspire, we need to present her to her father and Priests of Pelor to confirm her identity. It will be the same for Bale.
We collect Uhurak, she will be coming with us.
We speak to the Kingdom of the Tiger, they are also leaving. We head out with them, taking the carriages and cart. Farvir is going with the Kingdom of the Tiger, and so are the dwarves under Thurman of the Stone Fist gang.
Everlife Southern Watch Tower
We return to the guard tower, and the Kingdom of the Tiger help out Michael and his men by bringing back a handful of guards to escort Michael back to the Spire. We say goodbye to Michael.
Road to Lasthaven
We travel with the refugees as far as we can from the city, but it isn’t as far as we would like. The refugees travel very slowly.
In the night, we are attacked by two Spawn of Kyuss, acolytes of Orcus. They regenerate unless in sunlight or running water. Fire, acid and radiant damage will stop regeneration for a round. We defeat them, and have a restful night.
