Codex Heads to the archives, looking up Dragon sightings in the area over the last 1500 years. White dragon sightings show a family that have lived in the area, up until the last 100 years, where the sightings stop. White dragons living in family groups is very unusual, all the sightings are around Eastspire, the abandoned Dwarven settlement.
The dragon family name is Fharngnarthnost. There is an abandoned but still maintained train station that the train can stop at, but we would need to convince the Svirfneblin to do so. The Scouting reports aren’t complete, Thanehold has the complete record of scouting reports, spotty records from East for last 200 years, missing records from South for last 10 years. Complete records are unavailable, unless we go to Thanehold. And we cannot go there as we are not all dwarves.
Interestingly, the dragon family has not attacked, all the sightings are from a distance. They are difficult to see, they have masterful camouflage. There are no records of raids or attacks by the dragon family. They have not caused any visible reports of carnage… ever. So where is their hoard coming from?
EastSpire (also called Plainspire, due to it opening up into a vast plain) is the best place to start looking, and getting there by train avoids attacks from the air.
Meet up with group at the Inn. Berdyn is now legally alive, he spoke to the judge to get legal death reversed. Bale and Maude tell us they learned White dragons have immunity to cold, and are very dangerous.
We travel to Maplebrook, the Gnomish town near SouthSpire. A regular carriage travels to and from the town and Southspire.
MapleBrook
We meet with Boddynock, a Forest gnome leatherworker, to get the Bulette hide turned into armor and enchanted. This will take some time.
We speak to Immarel, an Elven enchanter. We discuss options on creating one of the magical wagons, and how to deal with the issue of the intense cold of the northern lands.
We also speak to the Dwarven Druid Kilver Packfinder about Frostfang the white Dragon. We meet in the Maplebrook Tavern. He tells us that the white dragon brood is in the EastSpire area, North of the Settlement and up a nearby mountain.
We are also told of the human known as the Mad Baron who has a settlement in the North (this is probably Baron Grenor Olbundar).
He tells us that the White dragon son is spreading influence and all the bears, large cats are going away from the area, either being eaten or driven out. It is an ecological disaster.
Told that in addition to the mad baron and his settlement, there is an orc tribe to the north. They are described as “feral as fuck” and very dangerous.
We enter into the Maplebrook greenhouses, these massive glass houses that contain plants and trees from warm climates. Gnomes are tending to these locations, one of which is a female gnome named Fele, a forest gnome druid. She tells us what cold type creature we can use as mounts in the north, giant foxes, goats, Elk.
Return to Immarel, who is with Yadira, a female human and powerful wizard. Yadira gives some options for us. One option is to create an extradimensional space, but it temporarily disables all bags of holding/etc while in the space.
The second option is to create a gate in the wagon to a demiplane. This can then allow us to stay in the demiplane, and build upon the demiplane, as a piece of property. It can then have more gates connected to it, making it a nexus connecting two or more physical spaces.
The cost for the first option, the extradimensional space, is 200,000 GP. The cost for the second is 10,000 Sigilian Coins, which is around 1,000,000.
Yadira serves the Lady of Pain in Sigil, and has a fingerprint brand in her collarbone, the touch of the lady.
Yadira offers a key that will offer a round trip to Sigil, only useable by us, we bleed into the key. We can go there to visit. Exciting!
We consider the options and negotiate with Immarel. He is willing to take ½ price of the first wagon type if we get him the body of a dragon, as much as we can.
So weill go after the dragon first, and then figure out what to do next.

We return to Southspire, have dinner at Flaming Maeve’s. It is very popular, but is a greasy diner with food on mismatched plates. Food is fantastic, booze is cheap and strong, and there’s a line up out the door.
We head over to the Silverchaser living area, for Berdyn’s revival ceremony. After an awkward conversation with Delre, who is waiting in the common area, we head to the crypts with the family. Whurbin and Trauban do not come to the ceremony, but the rest of the family is there.
We witness the name striking from the crypt, Berdyn removes his own name from the list of dead. Berdyn lives!
After the ceremony, we head to the Gray Victor bar, one bartender is named Kavana, who serves us. We celebrate! A few of the Silverchasers come with us, Ovina and Riswynn, Brottar and Vistra. We get super drunk and have to be half carried home.
