Kingston – R2 - Royal District of Prince Gilbert
Codex checks the magic map and sees if Erica Sabion is in Kingston. Indeed she is!
We teleport to Bale’s summit, and pick up our sigilian coins, in preparation for our down payment of the extradimensional space.
Then we teleport to Southspire, arriving at the Runecaster’s tower. We inquire about the wish spell. Tailye can do this, but in exchange asks us to acquire two books. One is a book written by Bahamut and one is written by Tiamat. They are in the Citadel. They are also dragon sized, so they will be very large. We are not restricted regarding reading the books. However, we are warned that reading them may be dangerous, but Codex has to read them, his Goddess would demand it. We agree.
We have to phrase the words of the wish carefully. Do we want Theobald to be released from the curse, or to never have the curse in the first place? Each has it’s own consequences.
We then speak to the Plane travelling Yadira, and pay more into our extra dimensional space. We speak briefly about Theobald, Yadira tells us that this kind of magic, if removed, will gain the attention of the God that possessed the power. In this case, it is undoubtably Vecna.
We then head to Maplebrook to collect our mounts. Codex rides Jumper, the giant mountain goat. She is a lady goat. Fala instructs us on how to saddle and ride the Goats. Klondike and Digger are the two other Giant Goat mounts for Bale and Berdyn.
We also get a giant fox mount for Maud, named Paws.
We ride them back to Southspire, and have them stabled just outside of Southspire. They are stabled and paid up to Knavefall 6.
We teleportation circle back to the church of Boccob.
We return to Gilbert and Emma’s Enclave. We communicate with Michael Sherkev (that’s his last name) in Everlife using the Sending stone briefly, we intend to make him Baron of Everlife – though we don’t tell him that yet.
We then have dinner with some of the other merchants. They have three concerns. One is defense of the trade routes to ensure the flow of trade, an assurance of a lack of favoritism among the different merchant concerns, and finally accessibility to the goods by the other merchants. They are a number of concerns that White Star has been treated favorably, and Bale assures them that this is no longer the case.
They leave and we discuss our plans for the next few days.
