The cave system stretches deep into the mountains and the River Sallow rises in its depths. If you go to the other end of the system, you will reach the rivers of hot magma of the Volcano Esmir. This is why Lord Apo'rok-ekko chose this cave to establish a new colony. The water source, as well as the temperature, was ideal for establishing new spawning pools. The Temple Ship Yungaloq was tasked with building just such a colony, the possibilities of the temple ships in terms of further additions were not endless and this cave, was to be the sixth colony they established. The area around the cave was suitable for partial flooding, making it uncomfortable for any visitor to even approach. After all, the nearest inhabited place was the Tower of Friendship, which housed two mages, a human and an elf, who would help rather than harm the cave's new inhabitants.

One cycle after another passed and several successful spawns had already taken place in the Bronze spawning pools, the local waters proving ideal for the giant Seraphon. It didn't matter if they were stegadons, carnosaurs or bastiladons, but at least one was born from each litter and that was very rare outside of the temple ship. The next cycle was just approaching and the caves were expecting more additions when a column of smoke appeared over the Volcano Esmir. The volcano came to life very quickly and hot magma began to appear on the edges of the crater. In the cave system, the magma also began to rise and threatened to fill the passages with magma. Oxa'Laku was outside the cave system at the time, and in an attempt to prevent the worst, he tried to cast a defensive spell remotely.

The Seraphon disappeared for a time and their friends found only statues of the Seraphon where they used to live.  Gradually, humans and elves disappeared from the area around the cave, and as time passed orcs appeared in the area and giants settled in the near Volcano Esmir.

Lately, however, the roar has been heard from the cave again, and the expeditions that went near it have not been seen again. The cave seems to be coming back to life.
