Faction background/story

In the northen parts of Raveged Coast, where a river winds throught dense forests and lakes shimmer under sleeting light, stands an ancient tree. For Sylvaneth known as El Antiguo. This colossal tree was the lifeblood of the region, its roots stretching deep into the earth, connecting the forests and river into one harmonious network. The Sylvaneth led by Que found sanctuary here, forging a bond with nature and creating a grove that thrived even amidst the turmoil of the outside world.

But the chaos that swept across the Ravaged Coast shattered this balance. El Antiguo was gravely wounded—its roots became laced with chaotic magic, poisoning the soil, water, and surrounding forests. The Sylvaneth of the grove, deeply connected to their natural surroundings, felt the corruption within themselves. Upon awakening, they discovered their forms had changed—leaves blazing in fiery autumn hues and bark cracked like aging wood. Chaos had quite literally "painted" the Sylvaneth in the colors of autumn, reflecting the altered and wounded world to which they were now bound.

Que and his companions now face an existential challenge. El Antiguo remains a source of their power, but its magic is unstable, warped by chaos. The autumn colors they now bear serve as a reminder of nature’s fragility—a time of decline, yet also the possibility of renewal. Driven by this fragile balance, the Sylvaneth have sworn to restore what was lost. They sow the shattered lands with seeds of hope—yet their work is not without thorns of vengeance. For every step toward renewal, they ensure that those who defiled their sacred lands feel the sharp retribution of nature’s wrath.
