Nestled on a craggy hill overlooking the Ravaged Coast, Ebony Keep is a crumbling remnant of an ancient human stronghold. Its once-proud walls are pitted with the scars of time, and ivy creeps along the stones like veins of faded life. Despite its ruined state, the castle provides a strategic refuge for the Obsidian Watch. The Stormcast Eternals occupy the central keep, where hastily restored chambers serve as their armories, sanctums, and war rooms.
While only a handful of Stormcast reside there, Ebony Keep bustles with life thanks to the mortal servants who maintain it. These devoted followers hail from nearby villages and view the Watch as protectors and saviors. They perform the daily tasks of cooking, cleaning, and repairing what little remains of the ancient castle, their efforts ensuring that the Stormcast can focus on their sacred missions.
The keep’s bleak silhouette against the horizon mirrors the grim determination of its occupants. Beneath its worn halls, ancient catacombs hold the remnants of old human lords who once ruled these lands, now silent witnesses to the Watch's struggle. For the Obsidian Watch, Ebony Keep is more than a refuge—it is a symbol of resilience, standing firm amidst decay and serving as a bastion against the encroaching darkness.
