Battlereport - Gilded Skulls

From the perspective of Zorrath, the Sanguine Prophet:

The battlefield shook as the Stormcast of The Black Aegis closed in on us. Vorrkar, leading the charge with his Bloodletters, but the Stormcast pushed back. On the opposite flank, Moranak, Kadrich and his Blood Warriors were preparing to engage Reclusians.

Suddenly, Liberators teleported behind us, catching us off guard. While Moranak led a brutal charge, the Liberators struck with precision, forcing him into retreat. He was struck down, leaving our forces faltering.

In the midst of chaos, Vorrkar fought against his apparent nemesis but fell to a mighty blow. His Bloodletters, desperate, avenged him briefly before they, too, were slain. The battlefield was drenched in blood, but the tide had turned.

With Moranak knocked out and Vorrkar slain, the Gilded Skulls had no choice but to withdraw. The Stormcast had claimed victory, but they did as we needed them to do. The blood spilled today would fuel something greater.
