The Gilded Pact is the mostly shadowy organization that runs Teckitan from behind the scenes. It has a hand in the politics, and a total monopoly on all trade that runs through Teckitan. It was formed just after the Blood War, when Teckitan was still undergoing a power vacuum after the supposed destruction of The Blood Mages. Run by the enigmatic Merchant, the Pact has catapulted up the ranks of powerful companies, taking near total control over the City-State following the weakness of the central government.
