The Kingdom of Falglor was founded during the Splintering by a former general of the Royal Army. During the Age of Frost, the nobles of Falglor dragged their feet, and slowed necessary military and resource aid. As a result, the king issued a decree to dissolve the noble houses. Some complied, but those who didn't broke away and formed The Yunnaiteddo Federation. After a short war, they were convinced that a war to unify the Yunaiteddo and Falglor would be too costly. Regardless, Falglor had significant foreign influence, forming embassies in multiple other nations and waging an accidental proxy war with The Order over Ravenna's independence. They were also the first ones to join the Coalition of Nations against Uthan. The quality of life in Falglor was quite significant, and the nation seemed to be angling toward becoming a democracy.

However, during the summer of 743, a wave of lizard-people appeared from the swamps and crusaded through Falglor. The army managed to put them down, but not before significant damage was done to the surrounding areas. Just as a precaution, multiple forts and troops were stationed in the swamp where the lizard people first originated. On the exact time as last year, the lizard people burst forth again. This is now an annual occurrence in Falglor, and has caused a slow but eventual demise for the kingdom. The current king of Falglor is using this as an excuse to seize more and more power, while the Senate sees this as an extreme overreaction and continues to demand more democratic power. Intermediate groups have also formed, but these are highly ineffective. Meanwhile, Falglor is undergoing a demographic crisis from so many of it's young men being shipped off to fight lizard-men in the swamps. Falglor's foreign influence has dropped significantly, and this has helped their old rival, the Order, to control most foreign affairs.
