Different Moneerian Roles

These are some of the roles within The Holy Imperium of Moneeri.

Militia - All citizens are required to serve a year long term in the armed forces, and the militia is where they go. The militia is more focused on support for the main army, and defense of the homeland rather than any definitive offensive action.

Infantry - The base soldiers that enforce the will of the Imperium. If one is interested in joining the army proper after being enlisted in the militia, than they are made a standard soldier after further training and equipment.

Heavy Infantry - Heavy infantry are the more elite soldiers, given better equipment, and serve as shock troops at the forefront of Moneerian assaults.

Loyalty Enforcement Officers - Loyalty Enforcement Officers, or LEOs are the military police, making sure that there are no defectors, deserters, traitors or spies within the ranks of the army. They are made up of veterans and extremely dedicated soldiers who've undergone multiple tests to their loyalty and passed.

Archers and Crossbowmen - Archers and Crossbowmen used to make up most of the old Moneerian ranged divisions, hammering their enemies with precise shots from far away.

Riflemen - Riflemen are the new and rapidly section of the Moneerian Ranged Divisions, armed with the new rifles. They tear through enemies with lines and waves of bullets. Rifles have not yet grown to completely dominate the ranged divisions due to their unreliability, though because of their ease of use and deadliness, it is estimated that they shall soon grow to encompass the entirety of the Moneerian Army.

Warlords - The highest rank in the Moneerian Armed Forces, Warlords run the armies and other related armed forces of Moneeri. Only one is elected per province, along with Empyreans.

Low Governors - Low Governors are lesser ranked political figures within the Council of Politics, typically only governing small towns or villages. Their voices are relatively unheard, but those savvy enough rise above their rank soon enough.

Governors - Governors are the basic role in the Council of Politics, governing large cities and some of the surrounding areas. While not very heard in the Council, they do hold some modicum of sway.

High Governors - High Governors are those who govern counties and manage lower level governors. While they don't officially hold a vote in the Council of Politics, their words are headed by Empyreans, and they are held as advisors for important matters.

Empyreans - Empyreans are the highest rank of the Council of Politics, being elected from provinces, and voting on nationwide acts and edicts, mostly with the supervision of Aurland. Although they're elected alongside a Warlord every 10 years, they typically are divided on most issues.

Nightguards - Nightguards are some of the most elite members of the Moneerian armies, cherry picked from the best of the best to be made better with years of intense training. After this, they are given some of the best equipment Moneeri has to offer. Nightguards guard important figures within the Imperium, such as Empyreans, Warlords, and even the God-Emperor himself.
