The Forgotten One

The Forgotten One goes by many names. The Chained King, the Lord of Ruin, the Godkiller, the Maw. Yet no one knows him, no mortal at least. The only ones who know of the Forgotten One's existence are the Starchildren and Voidborn, the former opposing the entity, and the latter serving. The gods themselves are ignorant of the being, which is for the best, as their attention would only serve to make the thing stronger, however impossible it might be. The Forgotten One is malicious to no end, their goals unknown to anybody but the Voidborn, who work tirelessly to make their master's conviction a reality. Endlessly powerful, the only reason the Forgotten One has not ground this universe into oblivion is that it is sealed away in a prison separate and far more powerful than the Swathe , but connected to it. It's chains slip, day by day, century by century. The end is coming, it's inevitable.
