Therus was an alliance of micro-kingdoms that fell to Tiresia very quickly. They have been allowed to retain their noble structure, and the business of family trees is strong there.

The people of Therus claim to be vastly different from each other, and take great offense to the idea that the people of one tiny kingdom are much like another. Local dialects are important points of distinction for them, although Tiresia tries to stamp down on it and recent efforts have resulted in a network of free schooling across the State.

Regardless of their belief, most of the kingdoms of Therus are very similar. The bulk of people work on farms, there are small towns of craftsmen, and a handful of nobles that live in a capital city. Their military contribution is weak, and mostly consists of peasant footmen.
