Schweigen is generally depicted as wisps of shadow with wide eyes (sometimes a singular eye, most often 2-4 eyes, rarely up to a dozen) and no mouth. It is associated with secrets, meditation, spies, and remote wilderness. Devotees take vows of silence of varying lengths, usually certain days or times but possibly permanently.
Schweigen is often invoked when sharing a secret or making secret agreements. Some researchers of the arcane arts will dedicate a vow of silence to it in the hopes that it will help with their magical investigations.
