The Beastlords, is the name of a clan of druids that reside deep in the unmapped wilderness of the Crimsonwood. They guard the forest from hunting of any means. This means the Crimsonwood is a haven for monsters as well as beasts. These Beastlords protect monsters and beasts alike from the creature known as the Wendigo, an avatar of the god Malar.
The Beastlords have been cursed by Lycanthropy, but through their time protecting the monsters and beasts of the Crimsonwood, are able to shift into monsters as well as creatures. There is only one outsider who has gained this legendary ability, named The Cazador, who presently is chief of the Beastlords.
As tradition to keep the Wendigo away from the clan, a ceremony called the High Hunt is initiated every year, where a willing volunteer is released into the Crimsonwood for the Wendigo to feast, and a willing volunteer is sacrificed to Malar at the top of their temple. These two sacrifices protect the Beastlords from the wrath of Malar and the Wendigo.
