The location that the Elves of Greenwood were called to, is unnamed. When the Song of Screams first began, many elves decided to resist the urge of travel, and morphed into a different species entirely. For those that followed their urge to travel, they all met with one another in a seemingly enchanted forest. Here, the Elves of Greenwood were said to have constructed the first structures in the trees. The Wood Elves, were laborers and hunters. Any and all work that required a calloused fist, was done by Wood Elves. The High Elves were scholars, book keepers, and politicians. Anything that used memory or intellect, High Elves formulated a solution.
For the elves that disobeyed the Song of Screams, they grew to madness. Their skin lost the light of Seldarine, and so turned grey in color. They retreated away from the woods, for they had become ashamed of the woods they once had called home. They sought out caves, deep underground, and have not been seen for many ages.
