The Serephin coast is named after a legendary sailor from the time during the War of Black Leaves. Jane "The Dog" Serephin, was the leader of a legendary crew called "The Sanguine" that were infamous for their efforts in capturing both Radorean and Aurorean ships, and creating a small army of brigands in the seas.
Presently, the Serephin coast still holds it's share of pirates and smugglers, but is also heavily monitored by the Dalish Navy.
