The creature is capable of stealing human souls, perhaps for sustenance, perhaps just for its own sick amusement. When you give a creature this Dread Power, specify some restriction or condition that it must fulfill to steal a soul; maybe it has to trick the victim into offering it up willingly, or has to drag its victim back to its lair and attach him to some infernal device to extract the soul. Once the restriction is met, the creature may spend 3 Willpower and roll an appropriate dice pool, contested by the victim’s Resolve. If the creature succeeds, it steals the victim’s soul and inflicts the Soulless Condition. The victim (or her friends) may be able to find a way to restore her soul — perhaps by killing the creature, perhaps by stealing into its lair and finding the correct urn out of a collection of hundreds.
