In truth, leonin are an ancient and long-lived people who trace their roots to Marquet, another continent of Exandria, where the Calamity tore asunder civilization and rendered verdant landscapes into vast deserts.
Leonin feel most at home in rural, lush landscapes, and are almost unheard of beyond the sunny shores and verdant jungles of the Menagerie Coast.
