Always in exchangeable layers of robes, colored neutral-dark tones to be able to blend into crowds and be quickly swapped out to easily be lost in crowds. Also, MANY pockets!

Personality

Fidgety yet subdued (when not being feisty)
Eyes always moving and hands are always occupied, tinkering, mixing, swiping, or fiddling with robe hems or one of their mechanical spider-crab homunculi when expected to "be proper". VERY susceptible to caffeine and other stimulants. Despite this, they are usually sticking to the background and trying to avoid notice as much as possible, even (ESPECIALLY) when bilking others.

Child-adverse
Completely unaware of how to behave or deal with children. Their preferred course of action when confronted with the beasts: make them someone else's problem. (This is, coincidently, their policy for dealing with MOST people)

Dragons (and Pyromania)
Dragons bring out the more expected gnome-like behavior in them, very engaged and happy to interact and play games. Even if the dragon in question is not interested in play, Maukina is content spending time observing and being in their company (if they are amenable). Taking notes on their flame techniques and quality to try replicating in experiments for later battle or distraction is a particularly favorite pass-time

Gambler / Cheater
If there is an opportunity, they WILL attempt to bilk someone of their money. All in good fun with their found family (The Fuck Jarlaxle Brigade - and people they're forced to be friendly with for the sake of the same group), but in all earnestness of getting every copper possible without getting caught from ANYONE else.

GOAL
To finally be free of the dragon (un)killing bastards Cult of the Dragon, and finally figure out how to live life on her own. It's a very intimidating thing, when they're all she's known through either living under their influence or trying to escape them. If she could also save some of her dragon "friends" from them, she would be over the moon.
