Lina is a lady-in-waiting to the queen. She comes from Faernar, a large town from the mountains to the west of Arvandor. She is solicitous of the queen and protective of her fellow lady-in-waiting, Ebtencia. There is a whiff of scandal, that she may have needed to leave town in a hurry, and that her family shuttled her off to the Court as a way of removing her from the situation.
