Humans are the most populous race in Kestra, though they are far from a majority of the population. They are notable for being the most individualistic and venturous race, which made them notable as merchants for much of history. They also historically were highly prevalent within the church. Humans and Yskoi have long lived beside each other, and the two cultures have mixed deeply and are frequently at home in each other's spaces. Recent developments in trade and industry have benefitted some humans deeply, and many of the emerging merchant class are humans.However they also feature commonly amongst the middle and lower classes. Humans can be found from the densest cities to the most rural of villages, and from the highest of salons to the dingiest of tenement. Humans traditionally use Italian names, though many use names from other cultures.
