The Society for Paranormal Investigation

It has long been known that the dead rest uneasily in Kestra, and stories of ghosts and haunting are commonplace. The Society was treated by a group of faculty run out of the University of Elvania on the basis that their work was not ‘scientific.’ Mixing occult tools like ouija boards and candles with cutting edge clockwork and arcanomagical devices that can only be described as doohickeys, this group blends the occult and scientific in the name of understanding that which is commonly considered impossible to truly understand. They have received support from a variety of wealthy nobles on the condition that they perform their research in dinner parties, which has not necessarily helped this group gain academic legitimacy.
