At its core, Rook City is a city with an identity crisis. The center city is towering high-rises of glass and steel housing the nouveau riche and political elite of the city along with their high tech, high power conglomerates. Wrapped around that are the older districts who haven't faced the passage of time as well. There, the decades stand side by side. Stately brownstones cap the hills to house the old blood and old money and the university lays nestled in the valley that runs between the two. Throughout it all runs the metro line, the beating heart of Rook City.
