Pelton Graves is a former hunter and the current proprietor and operator of the Slug Fisher in Reedenford, which he runs with his daughter, Venora Graves. Pelton is a rough looking man with a good heart, and while he is renowned in town for his cooking talent, his true desire is to return to hunting, something he cannot do due to a spinal injury that paralyzed his left leg.
Description
Pelton is a older adult human man with lightly tanned skin, greying dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He has a shortly trimmed greying beard, as well as a set of claw-shaped scars across his left cheek. He walks with a limp, and wears a brace around his left leg. Pelton wears simple clothes, usually a tan tunic and brown trousers.
Pelton is gruff, but appreciates conversation. His favorite topic are stories about hunts, which he loves to trade with anyone willing to listen. He longs to hunt again, but cannot due to his injury. Pelton is rather protective over his daughter.

While no longer capable of hunting, Pelton is still a treasure trove of knowledge regarding the surrounding area's various creatures, hazards, and secrets.
History
At some point, Pelton began hunting in the environments surrounding Reedenford. Eventually, he married and had a daughter, Venora.
While on a hunting trip, Pelton encountered a beast that caused him a severe spinal injury that cost him the use of his left leg. Shortly after this brush with death, Pelton retired to focus on raising his daughter, eventually opening the Slug Fisher, where his cooking became rather popular amongst the townsfolk.
