Liar is a wondrous item and a magical rapier that requires attunement to use.

Description

A fine, thin rapier with an artistic silver guard. Faint glowing inscriptions line the leather wrap around the haft, visible only in complete darkness

Effects

This weapon requires attunement to use its abilities. When a sentient creature is struck by the sword, it will take psychic damage instead of piercing.

Once a day, as an action, the sword’s power may be evoked to hex a sentient opponent. The opposing creature must make a DC 15 Wisdom save. On a failed save, the creature will become incapable of refusing to answer a question for 10 minutes.
