“Spice is the spice of life.”

~ Chef Narhaim Lockwood

A mechanical wonder of a weapon. It is a special maul and a greatweapon that requires 2 hands to use effectively. It deals 1d12 damage on hit.

Description

A hefty, large, two handed maul with a large, iron reinforced wooden haft and two leather-wrapped grips across the body. The pommel resembles a salt shaker. The head of the hammer has two flat, prominent striking points. A series of small holes are visible across the mallet, but appear to be closed from the inside.

Effects

As an action, the head of the hammer may be opened to reveal a rotating mechanism holding glass shakers, some empty and others containing a number of spices. Spices may be taken and placed at will. The capacity of the hammer to hold spices is apparently infinite, but some magic prevents the machinery from accepting any non-culinary components.

The holes across the body of the hammer may be opened by flicking a small lever near the base of the hammer’s head as a free action. Doing so loads up the spice at the head of the hammer, which will burst out upon the weapon’s next impact.
