The Frozen Priesthood is a religious organization of priests that have dedicated their lives in service of the goddess Patalir. While their duties required a great many tasks of them, the most commonly know job they perform is to "receive" the pain, fear, regret and sadness from others by taking it on themselves, to later offer it to Patalir in ritual. While a great many respect the Frozen Priesthood for the services they provide to the suffering, others may express uncertainty regarding Patalir's true intentions and the eerie lack of emotions among the priests.
