Muphaev is a large country in southern Atavar that is known for being highly protective of its borders. Its people, the Muphaevans, are bound by ancient traditions and powerful discipline, dictated by their enduring culture. A strange, piercing white light can often be observed illuminating the sky from the south, though Muphaevans are highly secretive about its nature; those that are allowed entry to the country are forbidden from traveling to its southern reaches, a privilege only granted to those of Muphaevan blood.
While Muphaev shares a large number of similarities with the kingdom of Unknown, the two countries are bitter enemies and often attack each other across the dangerous Sinking Sea.
The earth of Muphaev is known to be rich in silver. Many cults of the goddess Ezan have had their origins traced back to Muphaev.
